My name is Janisa Simmons and I am honored that you stopped by. With more than 18 years of experience, I specialize in providing solutions for complex, multi-tenant web applications that service more than 100,000 users. Not only do I provide UX/UI artifacts for various projects, but I inspire organizations to improve and transform their UX culture. I’ve learned that every company has different practices, procedures and processes; but my energy, passion and spirit of collaboration has helped me to gracefully contribute to the success of my team.

I am currently a Principal UX Designer at Seeq Corporation, where I work full-time. During the pandemic, I also became a part-time instructor in the UX/UI Bootcamp at George Washington University, where I’ve had the privilege of teaching four cohorts of talented students. Watching them grow has been incredibly rewarding and inspires me daily to continue developing as a designer, leader, mentor and educator.
