There are only two reasons users stick with your product:
- They have no choice (common in B2B products)
- The benefit is greater than the pain
In many enterprise experiences—like job applications, ticketing systems, or learning platforms—users are forced to use the software. But when users do have a choice, everything comes down to one thing: Is the benefit greater than the pain? If your product creates more pain than benefit… users will leave. Every time. That’s why great UX design starts with understanding your users: What are their pain points? How frustrated are they? Does your solution actually make their lives easier?
Before you build your next feature, ask yourself: Is the benefit truly greater than the pain?
